During the first quarter of 2022, the top 5 News and Magazines apps on Android in Portugal showed varying trends in downloads, revenue, and active user engagement. Data from Sensor Tower provides a detailed look at their performance.

CNN Portugal experienced fluctuating weekly downloads. Starting strong with 12.9K downloads in the last week of December, it saw a decline to 727 downloads by the end of January. A notable spike occurred in the week of February 21 with 3.1K downloads, followed by a drop to 297 downloads at the end of March. The app did not generate any revenue during this period.
